Antrobus Cyclists – 23 Cheshire Lanes Surprise

A ride of about 38 miles from Antrobus Village hall out taking a huge loop down as far as the Stockton Heath, lunch in Plumley and back via Knutsford. The ride is on a mixture of cycle paths, quiet country lanes, and some busier roads.
Having left the tea room, we travel out of Antrobus via Appleton Thorn, into Stockton Heath with a comfort break at Walton Hall. Then out though Hatton and the Whitleys, Comberbach and Great Budworth. We’ll cross the A556 and have lunch at the Plumley Garden Centre. The return is via the outskirts of Knutsford, Heyrose Golf Club and Budworth Heath before returning to Antrobus.

We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph with short stops along the route, and make sure that no one is left behind.

You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and a lock. Please bring money for coffee breaks and lunch or your own drinks and snacks, if required.
