Starting point

Perthshire
PH1 5HT

Starting from outside Bells Sports Centre on Perths North inch we follow the cycle path up the banks of the River Tay and then along the River Almond to Inveralmond.
Here we divert on to new cycle path to Luncarty. Here we take the main village road to then rejoin the cycle path and head towards Bankfoot before taking the Burnside road into Stanley. We then follow the signs down into Stanley Mills for an explore before retracing our route back to the North Inch.

Please note that the Mills are at the bottom of a hill which means we need to climb back. This climb is similar to the route up through Almondbank.

We can stop whenever we want or need to! Sometimes we will stop to catch our breath, sometimes we will stop to take a photo, sometimes we will stop to take in the view - we're out to enjoy ourselves, so please let the ride leader know if there are any stops you want us to make.

Please dress for the weather, wearing whatever is comfortable for you on the bike. Generally clothing should not flap about at the ankles, as it can get caught in the chain, and watch for any clothing catching on the saddle. Be prepared for a typical Scottish January weather it can be bright sunny but still cold.

Bring water a helmet and whatever you might need should you get a puncture.
