Strive to Ride is a friendly and supportive group of like minded women who wish to improve their cardiovascular fitness, endurance and stamina through cycling. Rides are aimed at intermediate, confident, reasonably fit road cyclists. Average speed of rides is 15 mph and 20 to 50 miles in length (depending on the route) with some Yorkshire hills thrown in to test the legs! I am a qualified BC Coach, Ride Leader and Physical Fitness Practitioner with an aim to get women cycle fit within a safe group environment. So if you want to push yourself and don't mind riding outside your comfort zone from time to time, then come along and ride with us. You will need a roadworthy bike and to carry the correct kit in case of a puncture. Also enough food and drink for hydration and energy needs as a cafe stop may not be available on some routes. Lights are a MUST if riding at night.
