Tweed Valley Road Rides

We are 4 people who live in the Tweed valley and enjoy riding bikes. We have completed our Guided leaders Level 1 qualification to lead guided rides. Our group is for people who cycle but are wanting to become more confident at biking and get experience at riding for longer and with other people in groups. Our group' s purpose is to help people meet other people who enjoy biking and get fit on their bike. This riding group is for any adult. Male , female, gender neutral. We will be cycling around the Tweed Valley leaving from either Peebles, Innerleithen, Cardrona or the Walkerburn areas. We will cycle mainly on country lanes, cycle paths and sometimes on slightly busier roads. Our rides will be between 10/ 15 miles for easy going rides or from 20- 40 miles for more steady rides. The speed will be approx 10- 12 mph but may vary depending on the type of ride and who signs up. We can be flexible. No one will get left behind. There will be plenty of opportunity to stop on the rides and there will always be a coffee stop either at the end or in the middle of the ride.  Our rides will be for adults and will take place in the evenings during the summer / lighter nights and also during the day and sometimes at the weekends.
