About the group
Welcome to Steel City cycling, based in north-west Sheffield. This group was set up to explore the local countryside on quiet lanes and traffic free routes such as the National Cycling Network and bridleways, avoiding busy roads where possible. Our rides will include beginner and family friendly rides of between 10 – 20 miles, occasionally longer, at a steady pace but no one will be left behind.
These rides are for you if you don’t have much spare time but would like to get out with like minded cyclists for an hour or two, although a cafe stop can be included where possible.
