Breeze - Morpeth

Breeze offers fun, free bike rides for women. Breeze Morpeth will offer different rides to suit all abilities. Rides will often start in Morpeth, cycling in the local area. A friendly welcome awaits everyone with plenty of chat and coffee! I have some simple guidance as to to how I will grade the rides – easy, steady and challenging. We stay together on the rides so please read the description and make sure you are happy with what you have signed up to or ask me?! Easy rides are between 8 and 12 miles and will be a very gentle speed – great for people who want to start cycling, maybe get back on the bike after many years or just build confidence being on the roads. Steady rides are up to 20 miles and generally the speed will be steady, probably 10-11mph depending on hills. Saturday rides will include a refreshment break. Evening rides will not have a break. There is always somewhere to grab a cuppa/drink at the end and chat if people want to….that is part of Breeze. So if you book on this type of ride but usually go faster….you will need to slow down! Challenging rides are usually more than 20 miles and hillier, aiming for 11/12 mph. There will be a refreshment break on route (unless if it an evening ride).
