Event Organisers are doers. They are passionate about making a difference, supporting others, and ensuring our Pedal Party events are delivered in a safe, and fun, environment.
Anyone can become a Pedal Party Event Organiser. You don’t need any prior experience. You don’t even need to ride a bike! British Cycling provides the necessary training and support so you can grow into being a great Event Organiser.
You could be an Event Organiser
✅ Anyone looking to develop a career in event organising or management
✅ Or anyone with existing event organising skills who wants to give something back to their community
✅ Someone who doesn't shy away from responsibility
✅ Motivated to create a fun and safe experience for all
✅ Able to use technology to update documents and communicate with volunteers

👊 Provide you with all the documents and templates to organise and deliver events
👊 Ongoing development and access to other opportunities
👊 Event insurance to cover you and all volunteers when delivering events
Your journey to becoming a Pedal Party Event Organiser
Step 1
Complete our Event Organiser online learning (1-2hrs)
Step 2
Read and understand the Pedal Party event documentation (1hr)
&
Attend a seminar (1hr)
Step 3
Begin volunteering!
(but that doesn't mean your journey will stop there. We want to continue to build your skills and experience so you can be the best Pedal Party Event Organiser you can be)
