Starting from - Earlier start from DN21 5NL, 15 High Street Upton adds about 12 miles to the trip 09:20 please let me know if you will be starting from here. Otherwise The Old Shipyard, en of the lane near before the river. Meet at 10:00. Plenty of parking on the grass/gravel areas. DN21 1NQ

Downhill from Upton then pretty level ride along mostly quiet roads.

Some very nice straight flat lanes in the Idle/Thorne areas. One bit actually traffic free as the level crossing is closed to cars!

Mostly quiet roads, some busy ones but a lovely flat ride out to Wroot with an easyish climb before we drop back down to th Trent.

Stopping about half way at a greyhound sanctuary near Blaxton, I understand that it has a good cafe!

Usual Ride Social conditions, essential spares and cash for refreshments
