This 38 mile route was used for the CfC Sportive. It is mostly quiet country roads that pass through the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. It does include Dover's Hill, but don't be put off by this. It is the only hill of note on the ride and you will get up it one way or another (on the Sportive, some of us did have to push our bikes for some of it). From the top there is an opportunity to catch your breath, regroup and enjoy some amazing views. The descent is also a delight. We will stop at the Bakers Arms, just outside Chipping Campden (shortly after the hill) to have some lunch before completing the ride back to Meon Vale.
