100 riders - 100 miles.

Book on now - numbers are limited - and please donate at the same time.

Well, you're going to have to be up early & be fit, healthy & raring to go.

You will be supported during this flat ride. You will have the phone number of the support team who will come and help should you need assistance. There are 3 ride distances:

36 miles - A loop around the quiet South Ribble lanes
55 miles - A lovely flat ride down the coast at Blackpool
100 miles - A flat ride down the coasts of both Blackpool & Southport

We will also be doing warm up rides of 36 miles on the 18th August, 48 miles on the 25th August and 55 miles on the 8th September.

Book on now, make your donation now, do the pre-rides & decide your distance on the day, We can guide you on the pre-rides. You can do this - over 300 people who had never ridden this far before have cracked the distance on Centurion Rides - Now is your time!!

Route detail to follow, but it will be the same as last year, with a loop of the coast around Blackpool & a loop around Southport crossing through the start finish point, so you can pick up any spares / food / drinks you need during the ride.

We will ride so that the prevailing wind is behind us down the coast!

Be Prepared
You will need lights as it will be dark around 19.20. You should take 2 inner tubes, a multi tool, pump, suitable clothing, plenty of food & tablets for your drink. Mobile phone, money & a means of navigation. If you don’t navigate correctly you won’t do the 100 miles!

There will be ride briefing documents nearer the time, in the files tab, so please keep an eye on the ride's FaceBook page.

Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready.

Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone.

Ensure you have money, a phone, your navigation tools, food & drinks.
We will help people as much as we can, but ultimately you are responsible for yourself & your bike.

You will need to provide a minimum £10 donation to cover the expenses of the support drivers - every penny left over will go to the charity Bliss which supports premature babies & their families.

We have started a Just Giving page as that will ensure the charity receives the money directly & also benefits from gift aid & you can be sure your money goes to the charity.

Minimum £ 10 - no donation, no ride.

Please donate as soon as you have booked on here!

This will be The FC's - The Friendly Cyclists fifth 100 mile ride. I've seen the wonderful work the Bliss does and I'm proud to support them.
