White Peak loop - The Original 2020

Start at the far end of Combs Road in Bakewell and then cycle up the Monsal Trail to the A6 for a short section before we walk a steep trail upto the seldom visited King Sterndale. We'll stop for a morning coffee at the High Peak Bookstore. Then continue to Earl Sterndale and the High Peak trail which we'll cycle the full distance of. Stop for a picnic lunch around Middleton Top. We've then got the glorious descent to Cromford. Return via Matlock Bath, Matlock and the Rowsley trail which takes us through Whitworth Park (hope you're keeping up with the thread). Final ascent up a steep track from Rowsley which takes us back to Combs Road. Around 3,500 feet of climbing and 50 miles.
