Whistle Stop Tour to Monkey Town

Leaving Bolton behind we start off a on small incline to warm up and head towards Bury and Radcliffe on varied roads leading to Monkey Town .
With a little visit along the Harry Hill Cycle Way... this is the1936 Olympian not the comedian .
our stop is the very quaint Whistlestop coffee carriage a converted rail carriage at the Victorian rail station Heywood.
On our return we will touch upon Openshaw park to avoid the busy intersection of Bury centre and re join Bolton via cycle paths .

Please ensure bikes are in good working order ,Helmets are deemed essential anyone not wearing one will be unable to join the ride .Please bring a spare innertube tyre leavers and pump. A lock is advisable and monies for the café stop. This is a Horwich Ride Social Ride and is open for anyone to join you will need to fill out a participants form if you have not previously done one .
