The Battle of Bradfield is cancelled this year, but don’t despair as this ride follows the same route! This takes in around 5659ft in just 39.5 miles, so a significant amount of elevation for the distance.
The ride will start in Oughtibridge and proceeds straight up Jawbone to warm up before the exciting ride ahead.
We’ll be looking to maintain a tempo pace (if we can) but there will be waits at the top of the major climbs for regrouping and no-one will get left behind. There are no planned cafe stops.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; we recommend that you also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you and/or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self-reliant. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone. DISCLAIMER This is a purely social group of like-minded people sharing a love of cycling, it is not a formal organisation, nor does it have any form of legal structure. We do not profess to be trained ride leaders but do have experience of doing so. You are free to choose to ride with us but in doing so please note that you do so in acceptance that this is entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury suffered because of your participation. Please also read the terms and conditions on the website.
