Starting from - Meet at West Haddon Village Hall NN6 7AN. It is next to the school. Please park considerately as this is in a residential area. Bring with you a bottle of water, a spare inner tube for your bike, helmet and lights (shouldn't need them but for safety). Helmets compulsory. NN6 7AX

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

Welcome to our 4th season of Breeze! We are a large and very friendly Group with riders of all abilities but everyone started in Beginners once upon a time! Please don't be nervous if you arrive and find lots of lovely ladies and their bicycles on the cricket ground!
Please arrive in plenty of time to get you and your bike ready as we gather together as a Group for a quick briefing and to do a bike check at approx 6.15pm, before splitting into our riding groups. We will start riding our bicycles at 6.30pm.
You do not need to wear lycra or ride a fancy bike (although it does need to be road worthy and with pumped up tyres). Wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable in. You need to bring with you a helmet, a spare inner tube (that fits your bicycle), a big smile and cash for the pub. A bottle of water is also a good idea.
Our rides are for all - we ride together at a pace that suits everyone and no one is ever left behind.
The Beginners Rides for 2020 have been loaded as a series from April 29th through to September 16th with a generic description, however the routes and distances will change/ lengthen as we gain the light through the summer and everyone's confidence grows.
You will be riding under the guidance of a British Cycling trained Breeze Champion.
All rides will be on local country lanes, mostly quiet but there will be some undulations. West Haddon is not flat!
Initially I will plan in pub stops mid-way on rides but as we progress these will be dropped and the rides will become non-stop (although we will pause to catch our breath as needed). We are a social bunch and always meet in The Crown in West Haddon for a chat and a cup of tea (!!) afterwards.
