THIS RIDE IS ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN DUE TO LOCAL LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS.
The exact route may vary slightly depending on weather and other factors but it will be a short, scenic ride around Penarth!

This ride will be a mix of cycle paths and lanes/roads in and around Penarth. There are a couple of busier roads to cross (Redlands and Windsor Roads), however there are nearby pedestrian crossings if the traffic is heavy. There are a couple of hills, but we will wait at the top for anyone slower or who needs to walk.
We will not be stopping for refreshments en route, only to admire the views/for photo opportunities!
IMPORTANT:

To ensure that our rides are as safe as possible please note the following and take action where appropriate.

(1) Please do not book a place on the ride should you, or anyone in your household, be suffering from any of the following symptoms:
- New continuous cough
- High temperature
- Loss of, or change to, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia)

(2) When booking your place on the ride, please ensure that you have completed all the contact details. We will need these should anyone who is on the ride subsequently become aware of Covid-19 symptoms so that we can follow the guidelines in the ‘Trace, Test and Protect’ program.

(4) You will need to be self-sufficient on the ride i.e. please bring your own tubes, pump, tools, food and drink etc. as sharing raises the risk of spreading Covid-19

(5) We will keep socially distanced on the ride, so please adhere to this.

(6) Before the ride we will need to confirm that you are not experiencing any Covid19 symptoms.

(7) If you experience symptoms after the ride, you should get a Covid-19 test. If this is positive, you need to contact the ride leader as quickly as possible to enable the Track, Trace and Protect procedure.

(8) If you are in the extremely vulnerable category or have been told to self-isolate Welsh Cycling recommends you do not participate in activities

(9) Limited places due to covid-19, so please cancel in good time if you find that you won't be able to make the ride.
