This ride was created by Michael Holt and myself. The route starts at the UCLAN Sports Centre on Tom Benson Way. It sets out to the north before swinging west through country lanes before arriving at our coffee / cake stop in the seaside town of St Annes.
After a brief repast we will set off to return to the sports centre via Kirkham.
We'll ride at a steady pace of around 10 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, (9.45) So that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.05
