Trafford Pride Ride

Join us to celebrate Trafford’s first ever Pride with this Pride Ride! Trim up your bike with rainbow flags!

We will ride along the Bridgewater Way towpath and explore the Waterparks of Sale and Chorlton, returning to the start point in approx 1 hour. The paths are all traffic-free and all bikes are suitable (please check your bike is working ok before setting off). There are a couple of stiles which we will help you to get your bike over if you need help. The route is flat. It’s a great route for beginner and returners! We will show you how to get from Sale to Chorlton and onward links to Didsbury, Wythenshawe Park and more. All traffic-free/light traffic.

This is a sociable ride and there will be time for chatting and few quick rests to enjoy the scenery along the way.

Please bring water, a snack and a spare inner tube if you have one for your bike. If anyone gets a puncture we will help you to sort it - don’t worry, we never leave anyone behind!

There are public toilets in the library (part of the town hall complex) and parking is available over the canal at the multi storey Q park. Street parking is difficult.
