Following part of the King Alfred's Way out of Rdg down to the devil's Highway we will then leave the KAW and make our way north via quiet lanes and bridle paths to Twyford

Mostly towpaths and bridlepaths with some quiet lanes

stopping at roughly halfway for a refreshment stop

Puncture repair kit/spare tube (others will help) drinks and snacks for on the bike and money to buy drinks etc at the refreshment stop
