To see a Nightingale

We will head South through Birtley and onto the C2C for a leisurely ride East to Washington. We will then follow cycle lanes across to the Amazon and Nightingale centres and onto Follingsby Lane, Leam Lane and join the Bowes cycle track. Passing Springwell and Bowes then down the lines and back into Birtley.
Mostly easygoing although the Bowes Line is rough in places.
Please check bikes etc before leaving and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
If too icy the ride will be cancelled before 9am.

We have the option of a small detour to a garden centre for refreshments but please bring some just in case.
