The Eazy Peazy Beginners Ride to Farmer Gow's

This is one of easiest rides designed to introduce new people in to our group of social cyclists. we will start by riding in the village for a short while to get used to the idea of riding in a group then we will head out past Longcot for a quick Coffee/Tea/cake stop (mandatory for social rides) before returning via Watchfield.
This ride is for you if you worry about venturing out on your own, if you want to meet like minded people, if you like cake and don't mind cycling to get it.
You will NOT get left behind and if you get a puncture there will be someone who can fix it for you.
This ride is NOT for you if you want to go and smash your fastest time for 5 miles or you can't ride a bike unless you are wearing lycra

One of the more gentle rides from Shrivenham; suitable for families and those who like to potter along and enjoy the view.

We will be on flat roads with generally low levels of traffic. Children must be accompanied by an adult

We will stop at Farmer Gow's for a break before returning via Watchfield

We always recommend that helmets are worn but it is not mandatory. Because children's heads are still growing and a bit thinner we strongly advise that kids wear helmets

This ride is specially fro new riders and families, we will go at the pace of the slowest rider and no-one will be left behind. Come along and join this social ride and improve your road confidence and later in the season you could be joining us on a more challenging ride
