Join me on my 30ish mile ride to The Dunham Barn in Dunham Town.
The route is mostly canal towpath, initially along the Ashton Canal and then the Bridgewater Canal. Once we leave the Ashton Canal there'll be some busy city centre roads to take us to Castlefield Basin so we can join the Bridgewater Canal which will take us through Old Trafford, Sale and Altrincham before we leave the canals behind and join country lanes to The Dunham Barn.
Bike Type: All (95% paved and 5% compacted gravel/cobbles) Café stop: The Dunham Barn
Helmets are advisable. Please bring a lock, puncture repair kit and clothing appropriate for the weather, and cash/card for the café stop (I cannot guarantee card machines, or that they work if the café has them). Please be ready to set off at 09:30.
