Let's Ride - Sunday Session - Slower and social

Starting from - Car park at rear of Graystones Café and Deli on St Peter’s Street, Duxford or on the road nearby. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end. Due to Covid precautions please bring your own PPE (mask, sterile gloves and alcohol hand gel – we are unable to share any PPE or cycling equipment with you) in case of an emergency. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks, CB22 4PX

The idea of this ride is that we try and cycle together as a close group (except when ascending and descending hills). We have 4 leaders so on current numbers we will split into 2 groups (2 leaders and 4 riders). This is definitely not a race and there should be lots of chatter as we cycle along at a pace suitable for all the group. We may swap leaders part of the way round so that we all get a chance to talk to each other. This ride will be mainly on country lanes and minor roads but we will have to cross a couple of busy roads.
