A late ride to Kings Cross and Granary Square to take advantage of the longest days of the year on the week of the Summer Solstice, with a pizza break at the destination. This is a steady paced ride, great for those wanting to take on a few roads with normal traffic, but in small doses.
We head off to Kilburn and Primrose Hill using the cycle lane at Prince of Wales Road and Royal College Street, circling around but avoiding the busy Camden Market. We approach Granary Square through Gasholder Park. Here we will stop for a pizza at Happy Place, which we can either have indoors if the weather isn’t favourable, or take it out to enjoy by Regent’s Canal.
On our way back, we do a half circle around Regent’s Park, and carry on to Roundwood Park through Maida Vale. We aim to be back at the park by 9.30pm which is likely to be daylight, however do pack your bike lights in case we are delayed or it's very cloudy/rainy.
If you find this ride fully booked, sign up to the waiting list as spaces always become available nearer the date. However, please do not sign up if you’re not sure you can come.
