Leaving Straws Bridge we shall follow the Nutbrook Trail to its junction with The Erewash Canal (Stanton Lock). We shall ride along the tow path briefly before leaving it and travelling along the Erewash Valley Trail path to Nottingham Canal. We shall ride along the disused canal to its end and navigate the roads leading to the Wollaton Park Estate. The park is popular with families and can get busy on the paths. After our cafe stop we shall return to the start point on the same route.
