TPT past new Miller dam then on to Pugneys for a quick toilet stop. We will then go round Thornes Park before travelling on the road to Hepworth Gallery. We will then follow woodland trails to Stanley Ferry. From here it is canal and then country lanes to the nature reserve. Return journey is also a mixture of trails and roads.

Beautiful scenery and visit to RSPB Nature Reserve

Mainly traffic free trails and canal but there are some country lanes and one busy road.

We will stop for a picnic lunch and a drink at Stanley Ferry Before going to St Aidens for coffee (if visitor centre open)

Helmets... Picnic lunch... And money for drinks. Remember water bottles

We never leave anyone behind
