SPGXCC introductory ride

We will select a route which will hopefully have a little of everything; a long gentle climb, rolling countryside, town centre with roundabout and junction navigation, a short section of fast A road, winding country roads and back through wooded Burnham Beeches.

We’ll start off with a short briefing to describe the route and maybe a cycle check depending on how much riding experience each participant has had. Our ride will generally be about 30 miles in distance and we would normally have TWO of the group on hand to help you on the ride however in current COVID times, we will just have ONE so that we are fully COVID-compliant in our group size and social distancing.

We will meet at Burnham Beeches Cafe, SL2 3TB. There is chargeable parking of £3 at weekends so to avoid that, park just outside the Beeches and cycle a couple of minutes to the cafe.
