Starting point

Greater Manchester
M14 6LA

The route takes us from Platt Fields via the Fallowfield Loop to a shared path/road down to the River Mersey we then follow the river bank up stream leaving the river for a short stretch of road we then rejoin the river at its start. We then head up through Reddish Vale, sorry but we now have a couple of uphill sections before we make our way back to the Loop then its all downhill as we head back to our start point at Platt Fields

This route takes you from one of Manchester's premier parks to the start of the infamous River Mersey.

You will be riding on a disused railway line, the river bank, shared paths, gravel tracks and roads of which a short section may be busy. All of the surfaces are good expect for one section that will be muddy after recent rainfall.

We will stop part way for a brief rest, please bring a drink and refreshments with you.

Please ensure you have the following a spare inner tube, tyre levers, multi tool and a pump. I recommend the wearing of a helmet

We never leave anyone behind
