This ride series is aimed at ladies who haven’t been on their bikes in a while and would like to increase their confidence amongst other like-minded ladies in a small group in the great outdoors.

As long as you have a road worthy bike with fully working brakes and gears, a helmet and pockets of determination, this is for you!

Each week the rides will be extended to increase the distance and the terrain dependent on the progress of the cyclists. We will aim for completing 3 -10 miles over the series with cycling on varied terrain from cycling trails, shared cycle paths, quiet country lanes and eventually minor roads. There are a few lumps and bumps along the paths but don’t be put off as this makes it more relaxing and fun.

Do not worry, the pace will be set by the cyclists as we NEVER leave anyone behind. There will be ladies who progress at different levels and we will manage this over the series. It would be handy if you carried a spare inner tube that fits your own tyre, a snack and plenty to drink. Do not worry about punctures etc as we are all there to help one another but be prepared to have a go! You should also dress appropriately for the English weather! You should wear comfy clothes, trainers, carry or wear a thin waterproof jacket and gloves (personal preference). A set of bike lights would also be handy just in case the night draws in earlier than expected.

But most of all, please bring with you a good sense of humour, a smile and a willingness to have a go!
