This is an old training route I used to use for summer evenings with a couple of tweeks .
From our normal start point just off the A570 Rainford Bypass we head out towards Simonswood and the edge of Kirkby industrial estate , before jumping on to the A580 East Lancs Road cycle path heading Manchester bound past Carr Mill Dam before turning off at Pewfall up towards Garswood , after a loop around Garswood/seneley Green areas ,and maybe a quick look around Rectory Nurseries as seen on Look Northwest ( seeing is believing ) , we then head up into Billinge where we will have either possibly a buffet or it could be Buttylicious for dinner .
We then head out of Billinge , down into Crank , then into Kings moss ,and Crawford before looping back into The Rainford Junction area and to the start .
There are a few hills on this ride but nothing too taxing climbing a maximum of 120 metres and at just under 28 miles achievable by most of our riders .
Don't forget to bring a couple of spare innertubes for your bike and a means of inflating them . Also check your bike over the day before in case of any problems .
Please be at the start 15 minutes early so we can leave on time .

Please note this ride is invite only as a thank you to those who have turned out week n week out , and those who have helped me to keep the rides going.
