The majority is through lanes and B roads, there are some short stretches on busy A roads. A challenging hilly route taking in a steep climb up Bank Brow in Roby Mill and then up some shorter climbs up Alma Hill and Ashurst Beacon. The second part of the ride has some fast steep descents as a reward for all the hard work uphill.

We will take a refreshment break at Bridge Farm near Rainford.

Although helmets are not required by law, it is a a requirement of HRS rides to wear one, particularly on road rides.

First-timers welcome!
