Castle Leisure Centre

Welcome all to 2020 hope we find you ready to stretch those legs out on an easy little route around 6 miles that takes us on this wildlife filled ride. This route starts at the Castle Leisure Centre in Bury and follows firstly the river and then the Kirklees Trail, a disused railway line, to Greenmount before returning. There is a short quiet road section near the Police and Fire stations.
please note the parking is not the best in this area you have to pay on the sports centre but there is 2 hour free parking on some of the nearby supermarkets or you could park on the outskirts and ride in there are lots of cycle paths around.
