Ride Darlo - Mystery Ride 2021

Starting from - If travelling by car, coming off the A68 West Auckland Road, turn onto John Fowler Way, then turn left at the White Heifer pub onto Alderman Leach Drive. Follow this road around the one-way system until you get to the car park behind the Coop. The car park is the start and finish point. Note this is a private parking area, restrictions apply. DL2 2GL

Our Mystery Ride is back! You won’t know the route until the day of the ride, it will be announced during the ride briefing. This year, we have a nice easy short ride to take in a Sunday afternoon which will visit a special stopping point for an extra special treat! No clues to where we’re riding!

This ride is classed as a STEADY ride which is around 10 miles in total. The ride is undulating. The ride is all on the road or cycleways – all bike types suitable for this ride. It is suitable for riders who are comfortable sustaining around 10mph avg. and can continually cycle for around 1 hour each way. The stopover on this ride will be for around 30 mins. Bear in mind these times are a guide and the ride can take longer.

PLEASE NOTE this ride has a different starting point to our normal start place. We'll start and finish this ride at West Park, from the car park behind the Coop on John Fowler Way.
