This is a Christmas themed ride to Chiltern Velo the new cycling cafe and workshop in Hawridge (between Chesham and Wiggington)
We'll be on B roads for most of the way but we will have short stretches on A roads. There will be a few hills but the overall elevation is 1300ft so not too bad for the Chilterns.
We are going to stop at the new Chiltern Velo Bicycle Cage and Worskshop in Hawridge. As it'll be lunchtime we'll stop for a nice break and have lunch or snacks before returning back via Ley Hill. There is an opportunity to join the ride in Chorleywood and also at Chenies.
Helmets are compulsory. Out of respect for your ride companions please ensure you have rear mudguards. Please be sure to also have a spare innertube. As visibility can be low in the lanes it's a good idea to have some lights but as we are riding in a group please do not have them on flashing mode.
