M11 4BZ

Starting at the Manchester Velodrome, we’ll traverse through Clayton and Sunnybank Vales, and a smidge of Lumb Clough and Lees Park before we join the roads as we wend our way through Audenshaw and Denton before reaching Reddish Vale. We can either head straight to the farm for munchies or we can do a lovely little 4mile loop that contains a bit of climbing (but you do get to come back down it too!). After munchies there’ll be the climb back out of the valley (sorry, but there’s no way out without a bit of ‘up’) - we can do either climb out depending on how stuffed/worn out we are. The majority of the route back will be on the Floop once we’ve got off the roads. Please note that we will be abiding by COVID-19 safety regulations: social distancing and mask wearing at rest stops.

Bike Type: Hybrid, MTB –mostly tarmac with a bit of compacted sand/gravel and cobbles (3 locks)

Café stop: The Farm Café at Reddish Vale.

Please ensure you wear a helmet as I won’t allow anyone to participate without one. Bring cash for the Café, bike lock and puncture repair kit, and weather appropriate clothing – it is Manchester after all, so we could be turning into ducks, snowmen or cooking on the ride. It is unknown exactly how long we’ll be out for as it depends on who’s with us and how long we spend munching, so any end time on here is a pure guess!

We never leave anyone behind
