Starting from - Starting at the Grovehill/Woodhall farm Adventure Playground, car park. The entrance road is opposite the Co-op petrol garage on the Redbourn Road There is free parking but please be aware there is a height barrier at the beginning of the road,

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the ride to prepare your bike. Then run through our bike check and ride information with the group, so that we can leave promptly at 9am

This circular ride will beginning at the Active Dacorum Hub car park Taking a road route we will travel out through Gaddesden before dropping in to the valley and then climbing back up to Potten End to visit the beautiful tea rooms at Little Heath. This is a tucked away delightful place to enjoy tea and cake and what a better way to start the celebration if the bank holiday jubilee weekend.
Weather permitting we will enjoy our tea and cake outside ( but will be inside if less favourable conditions)

There will be a few hills on this ride but as always we will wait for the group at the top and allow everyone time to rest. As leaders we will ensure that no one is left behind, so that all of the group can have an enjoyable ride . We will be riding at the pace of the slowest rider approx 8-10pm has

Please remember to bring,
Two spare inner tubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools ( tyre levers)
A water bottle with a drink in.
Cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather
As we will be riding on the road please consider adding lights to your bike and wearing high vis clothing to assist other road users to see you.
Money for your cake and drink.
Bike lock to secure your bike while we stop for refreshments.

Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms or have been in contact with people that have Covid. Please bring a mask and hand sanitiser.
