Puncture Repair Workshop

Bev will NOT be doing this for you, Bev will help and guide and assist if necessary, but Bev is putting this workshop on to help and empower you, not to do it for you.
Bev is NOT a qualified mechanic.
Bev will be letting down a tyre on your bike, this will probably be the back tyre, as these are hardest to get off.
Bev will then help and guide you how to take your wheel off and the steps and processes needed to get the inner tube out and make successful repairs, to simulate a scenario where you may need to do this when out on a ride.
(Bev cannot do slime, gunk, sealants and some ebikes, etc, this is for traditional inner tube type set up.) If you have these and still wish to take part, you can use Bev's bike to do it on.
If anything should happen, or more technical knowledge is needed, the kind Staff at Giant Store Sheffield are on hand, should we need it.

Please bring your own bike, you will be repairing a "flat" on your own bike. Bring a spare inner tube suitable for your own bike, if you don't have a spare, Giant Store Sheffield will be open, where you can purchase what you need. Please bring any tools you require such as tyre levers, again, Giant will be open for you to purchase these if you need. Bring rubber gloves if you want, so you don't get too messy, you will need to supply these yourself. This session will take place rain or shine. If you wish to ride after the session, please bring a helmet and the equipment to do so.
