From Cambia Bridge we'll follow the Old Canal route out to West Swindon via Westcott Park and Westlea Park. We'll then head north along the former railway path, past Shaw Forest Park then towards Peatmoor Lagoon where we'll take a short break to enjoy the scenery. We'll then head north, towards Moulden Hill and re-join the former railway path heading back along the 'Western Flyer'. We'll re-emerge at the town centre, via the Railway Village Heritage area. The route is mostly flat, with just a few short climbs to keep you on your toes (or pedals).

Did you know it's easy to get from the centre of Swindon to Peatmoor Lagoon by bike? Using the network of traffic-free cycle paths and a few short sections of quiet roads we'll show you how! Away from the busy roads we'll enjoy plenty of Swindon's hidden greenspaces along the way.

As with all the 'Potter on Pedals' rides we take the quietest and greenest routes around Swindon using the network of traffic-free cycle paths and the occasional short section of quiet road.

We'll take a short break to enjoy the views at Peatmoor Lagoon.

Under 16's must wear helmets and we also recommend that adults wear them too. Bring along a drink and a snack if needed.

Potter on Pedals rides are social rides designed to help you discover more of your local area by bike in a friendly, supportive environment. Speed is discouraged and no one is ever left behind. Everyone is welcome no matter your age, ability or type of cycle. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
