Point me to the Ferry

We will do a circuit of the park then head along the canal side path to the Ferry picnic site, we will not cross the railway, instead taking the residential street to Ferry Road. Return can be the same way or along the unpaved canalside to the campsites then back along the same route.

This route is perfect for beginners.

Traffic free unpaved track, traffic free tarmac cycle route and quiet roads.

Depending on weather, a wee stop for a breather and a snack at the Ferry picnic area.

Helmets are advisable, waterproof jacket and gloves are a must now summer ha so passed. Also bring any bike repair kit you think you may need, we can discuss what’s good to take on the day so you are prepared for the next ride.
