Join us for a sociable Sunday morning cycle ride through the grounds of Penrhyn Castle, along the cycle track and around quiet country lanes. After our ride we will have the chance to join "Yoga on the Lawn" and finally top the morning off with a visit to the cafe.

First of a series of three free rides suitable for all bikes (including e-bikes) and most abilities. The rides will be led by a British Cycling trained cycle leader. Open to all women over 16. They will be easy paced rides and fairly flat. - we will go at the pace of the slowest rider - no one will be left behind. There are a small number of hills, but they are short enough that you can get off an push if need be.

Each week we will add a few miles onto the rides:

Ride 1 (1st Sept) 6.5 miles
Ride 2 (8th Sept) 6.5 OR 9 miles
Ride 3 (15th Sept) 6.5 OR 12 miles

After the cycle ride there is the option to join "Yoga on the Lawn" in the Castle grounds, although you don't have to join the yoga to come on the ride. Donations for participation in the yoga class (recommended £3 per person) will be greatly appreciated by the National Trust, a conservation charity. . There are more details of the yoga here:

There is no entrance fee, but if you are a member of the National Trust please bring your membership card to scan at the Visitor Centre.
If you would like to look round the castle itself you will need to purchase a ticket from the Visitor Centre if you are not a National Trust member.

So whether you’re relatively new or returning to cycling or experienced and fancy a chilled Sunday morning ride with a difference come and join us.

Numbers are limited so please sign up ahead of time.
