The ride will set off from Burton Green and continue down through Waterditch and the back roads to Sopley for coffee before coming back down the lanes to Burton.

A 9 mile meander through the quiet lanes from Burton Green towards Bransgore and Sopley with a stop for coffee and cake at Dan Tanner's pick your own Bakery in Sopley. Perfect for newbies to cycling on the road with the aim of gaining confidence and fitness to go further in time.

A flat route along small, quiet lanes

Coffee and cake of course!

Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and puncture repair outfit. A rainproof jacket will keep dry and keep the wind out if necessary.

This ride is for anyone who needs to build confidence riding on the roads. The ride pace will suit the slowest rider so is not suitable for riders wanting to go at fast pace. Over a few weeks the speed may well creep up as riders gain confidence and fitness but let's see how we go!
