This is a steady ride to Moss End Garden centre cafe, using a mix of quiet suburban and country roads with some offroad, some of which will be on tarmac. From Burnham station we will go via Bray, Holyport and Paley Street to our cafe stop.
Suitably refreshed, we return via Hogoak Lane to the Drift Road, then Fifield, cross the A308, alongside the m4 to Marsh Lane and Lake End Road, and Huntercombe Lane back to our starting point.
Estimate 28 miles with about 550 ft of ascent. We go at the pace of the slowest rider and do not leave anyone behind.
Please bring a serviceable bike, helmet and at least a spare inner tube. Also suitable clothing for the conditions and money/card if you want to buy anything at the cafe stop.
Some of the offroad sections are unsuitable for a road bike with narrow tyres. Suggest at least 700x32 or mountain bike equivalent.
The route may change depending on circumstances.
