Moorings to Media City

Leaving the Moorings at Boothstown Marina, we follow the canal through Worsley and Monton all the way to Media City. After our cafe stop and a short stretch of road we pass through Buile Hill Park with it's historic mansion and extensive grounds. Picking up the Swinton Greenway we head back to Monton and onwards to our start point passing RHS Bridgewater on the way

The majority of the route is traffic free, using cycle lanes, canal paths and trails but there will be a couple of stretches of road so be prepared for some traffic

There'll be plenty of time for stops along the way and we'll have a cafe stop for a brew and a chat

Please dress appropriately to suit the weather and wear a helmet. You'll need some money for the cafe and bring a spare inner tube if you have one
