Monton to Bradley Fold

Leaving Monton we cycle up to Swinton along the Greenway and drop down into Drinkwater Park where we pick up NCR6. The Outwood trail takes us into Radcliffe and still following NCR6 we head to Bradley Fold Garden Centre for our stop. Onwards to the outskirts of Bolton we drop on to NCR55 back to the start point.
There are a few ups and downs and a couple of inclines but nothing that should put anyone off joining us

This is a varied route through a couple of country parks and some urban areas.

Most of the route is made up of tracks and trails but there is a section of road so be prepared for some traffic. The trails are a mixture of surfaces and there will be some muddy sections particularly if we've had rain.

There'll be plenty of time for stops along the way and we'll have a refreshment break where we can have a brew and a chat

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet. Bring some money if you want to buy something at the cafe and a spare inner tube/puncture repair kit if you have one
