A flat route east through some lovely hamlets and villages. A slight change to the protocol as we would like to invite non cycling partners to join us for coffee, see later.

Generally quiet country roads, a short 1km section on the A338 but joining at traffic lights so no major issues. You'll find it easier on a road bike or hybrid, even easier on an e-bike. But if all you have is a mountain bike bring that!!

We will be heading out to the Farmhouse Restaurant at Milletts Farm milletsfarmcentre.com/eating/farmhouse-kitchen.html. Why not invite your non cycling partner to join you for coffee. That helps to increase the social aspect and if you see anything you fancy in the farm shop your partner can bring it home. Partners should be encouraged to share transport where possible.

As always Helmets are advisable. Please bring spare inner tube, tyre levers, puncture repair kit, pump (which fits you tubes) . Suggest mobile phone and cash or card for the stop. a lock if it is not hard to carry safely The leader uses a small "Cafe Lock" to use as a deterent.

We always welcome newbies to our group. we are a new group after all!!! You should feel confident that you can ride 15 miles without a break at about 11-12 mph The stop will give time to refresh before we head home.
