This ride is run in association with Mid Devon Cycling Club.

Stepping Stones are rides to act as a transition from Breeze rides to club social rides and are for Breeze riders who want more of a challenge, and find that the steady Breeze rides are now too easy for them

You don't need to be a member of the Mid Devon Cycling Club for the first couple of rides so come along and see what you think.

Stepping Stones rides are approximately 25-30 miles, to include the midway coffee stop.

It is hilly so you need a road bike or a light hybrid with road tyres for this one, but you will be looked after all the way.

Rides will be adhering to current Covid guidelines.

This week our destination is Bovey Tracey.

Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather, and bring a drink and a spare inner tube with you. Please also bring a bike lock, if you have one, and money for the café – many café’s prefer contactless payments rather than cash to limit the risk of infection spread.

Although there is a car park at the start, please be aware that there is a height barrier for those of you with a bike on top of the car.

Please arrive at the meeting place ten minutes before the start for a briefing and to enable us to start on time.

I will be messaging all riders in advance with my contact details, please let me know if you are going to be late or are unable to attend.

We look forward to seeing you on the ride.
