Starting point

The decision on route is made on the day according to the riders present and weather conditions. Our rides typically range from approximately 10 to 20 miles, occasionally further. They may cross the river into the Chilterns, head South towards Maidenhead and Dorney, or amble along the Thames to Henley. Unless it's a short ride we'll stop for coffee along the route.
We earmark the first ride of the month for a short ride to encourage beginners. Please get in touch with Dave, the ride leader, in advance.

This group began in September 2018 as part of the Active Bucks initiative to get county residents more active and healthy. It was added to Let's Ride in 2019. Riders from Active Bucks still join the ride in addition to those booked online. We are typically 4 to 6 riders since lockdown. We welcome all those who want to increase their fitness through cycling in a friendly social setting whether beginners or experienced. We meet every Thursday at 10:00am. The normal meeting point is at Pound Lane car park in Marlow. The total ride time can range from two to four hours. It will recur on a weekly basis unless Covid restrictions or the weather get in the way.

Our routes are on quiet lanes and easy off-road tracks as much as possible.

We usually incorporate a coffee stop but this may be limited by Covid restrictions. Please remember to bring your face covering.

Hybrid style or mountain bikes are ideal. Bikes with narrow, slick tyres may have difficulty with some of the off-road sections. All bikes must be in a safe roadworthy condition. Helmets are required and front and rear lights recommended.
