Loversall, Wadworth Amazon Lakes

We will go round Lakeside on shared paths keeping away from the road as much as possible then over the railway bridge to B&Q then along the trail to the railway path up to Tickhill Road. Along the road to Loversall then follow the trail “Rakes Lane” to Amazon Lakes where we will stop for a chat and refreshments before setting off towards Wadworth returning to the Amazon Lakes a slightly different way before going past the IPort to join the new path that joins up with the Rossington Greenway then Red path through Bessacarr to return to Lakesside.

Most of the route is traffic free along side roads round Lakeside on shared paths leading to off road trail by B&Q leading up to Tickhill Road. A short stretch of road to Loversall then track to Amazon Lakes returning along the Greenway and Red Path through Bessacarr

We will stop at Amazon Lakes but unfortunately Annabelles is not open on Mondays so please bring along a drink.

Helmets are advisable and you may need some money or a card if you have time to stop at Cheswold after the ride.
