A relatively short but hilly (total climb for ride about 500 feet) ride out through the Llanrumney area to climb up though the lanes and drop down into Bassaleg, continuing on to the Dyffryn area of Newport where will will have a coffee stop at Tredegar House, as the Vanilla Pod is not open on Sundays. Afterwards we cycle via route 88 along quiet roads and country paths to St Mellons and back up hill to the start.

See the route here :

This is a circular route, with the first half being quite hilly, and the second half almost flat.

We will be riding mainly on quiet suburban roads and undulating country lanes, with a short stretch on grit/gravel path along the reen.

We will have a cafe stop at the Vanilla Pod, in the Dyffryn, Newport area. Assuming we leave on time, we should be there in time for the breakfast menu :)

Please bring a bike lock and also a spare inner tube if you have one, and your cycle helmet. Also some money for the cafe stop.

We never leave anyone behind
