The route will be along Field End Road to Northolt, where we will turn right down Eastocte Lane and meet Jenny plus anyone else that wants to start from Northolt. From here we will ride through Northolt village and pick up the Grand Union canal tow path to Little Venice (near Paddington). We shall stop for refreshments before returning via a similar route.

The route, although long, is fairly flat as most of it is along the canal tow path. Hybrid or mountain bike tyres would be best for the terrain.

Please make sure that your bike is in good working order, dress for the weather, bring a padlock, water, cash and an oyster/contactless card in case public transport is required. I also recommend you carry a spare inner tube.
