Starting from - We will meet in the carpark of King Georges playing fields. I will wait for you by the end of the pavillion. It's not a regular cycling meeting point so I will be obvious as the one with the bike. ME10 1QX
This is a nice ride out to Tankerton slopes. There is some beautiful scenery on the route as well as sea views. The carpark at King Georges playing fields is free and there is a toilet should you need to use it. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately and don't forget suncream if its sunny. Please give your bike a once over the night before making sure that your tyres are pumped up and that your brakes are working. We will do a pre ride check on the bikes prior to starting off. If you need help getting your bike out of your car and then back in after the ride I am more than happy to help you with that.
This ride is a mix of country lanes and town cycling. There are some undulations on the route which is unavoidable. If you are finding a hill a bit of a challenge getting of and walking is ok and no one will mind. We have all been there and are more than happy to support and encourage you.
We are happy to stop on the way to take photos and have a drink.
Please make sure you bring your helmet as I run a No helmet No ride policy on my rides. You may also want to consider bringing a spare inner tube, pump, money, drinks, lunch (there is a cafe to purchase food should you wish) also any medications you may need.
We never leave anyone behind
